Ewe Woz 'Ere

Ewe Woz 'Ere is our entry into the Reset64 Craptastic Commodore 64 4k Games Competition. This special edition comprises the original game, documentation and a custom loader on a d64 image ready to use in a Commodore 64 emulator or on actual hardware (including original C64, Ultimate 64, C64-mini and more). PAL and NTSC compatible.

Baaary: mutton commando is a cyborg sheep from the future who must preserve the future of mutton-kind by defending the fields from an invasion of meanies.

Armed with a plasma spitter, Baaary is dropped into a field to eliminate all of the meanies. Once all of the meanies in a field are eliminated, Baaary will be collected and moved to the next field that needs clearing.

Some of the later fields may have been affected with stronger or weaker gravity. Be careful not to jump into orbit from fields with weak gravity.

Basics of the game

Firing your plasma spitter, moving and colliding with meanies will consume energy. Standing still or shooting a meanie allows Baaary to regain energy. The more energy Baaary has, the faster he will move and the score awarded for eliminating a meanie will be higher.

• If his energy gets too high, Baaary will burn out.
• If his energy drops too low, Baaary will run out of power.

Burning out, running out of power, falling down one of the many holes of doom or jumping into orbit will end the game.

Controls

Use the joystick in port 2 to move left and right. Push up on the joystick to jump - you can double jump to clear larger obstacles.

Press the fire button on the joystick to fire your plasma spitter. Hold down the fire button for auto-fire (but keep an eye on your energy).

To succeed at Ewe Woz 'Ere, you will need nerves of steel as well as accuracy with your weapon to ensure you manage your energy levels.
