A downloadable game

It's an INVASION! And you're the only one who can stop it - prevent the aliens from reaching the bottom of the screen and capturing your fighter, as it's the only one you have.

Plug your joystick in port 2 and tap fire to shoot. Hold fire for a smart bomb to destroy all visible aliens. Each smart bomb costs 100 points.

The game pulse rate slowly increases over time, making the aliens faster and more frequent. Your level increases every 500 points and you are rewarded with improved fire rate and movement speed plus a slight slow down of the pulse rate.

Hints:

Over-using smart bombs makes it take longer to level up.

UFOs are worth more points than standard aliens. Missing a UFO will make future UFOs slightly better at bombing.

Keep the accountants happy by shooting efficiently and you will be rewarded with a proficiency bonus; you may even earn a promotion. Unless you play on easy difficulty.

You will be rewarded with an extra shield every 1500 points.

Press RUN/STOP in game to activate self destruct.

Press SHIFT and CLR/HOME to reset the high scores on the disk version.

This game is for PAL systems only. The music sounds best with an 8580 SID chip. Joystick is recommended.

Great new shoot-em-up. I added it to my new "Gameplay of New C64 Games from March 2025" video along with other recently released games. Hope you enjoy the video.

Awesome ! Thanks a lot guys ! To all of you.

Wow, this game is great and highly addictive. I got as far as level 7 on easy mode, but normal mode, I didn't get far enough. Superb game.

Thanks Richard! I would recommend playing in normal mode, there are hidden parts that extend the game which don't activate in easy mode. So far none of the reviews that I watched have found them :)

Thanks for the tip. BTW what's happened to the .tap version? I noticed a credit for Martin Piper in there for tape loader.

There is a .tap version that was intended for a physical release; talks kind of stalled but I wanted Martins credit in the game in case it does happen eventually. The loading music was not completed so I decided to release the disk version only as a digital release. If the physical release doesn't go ahead I will add the tap to the itch page.

I understand. I hope all goes well with it :)
